Received my first exam and quiz grades yesterday. I did pretty well.
Now we are officially going to start hardcore in learning some German. Already we learned some important information (conjugations) and new phrases (asking where a person lives, ect).

Conjugations-
In class we learned how to conjugate the words wohnen, heiBen, and kommen.
         wohnen  heiBen  kommen
Ich - wohne     heiBe    komme
Du - wohnst    heiBt     kommst
Er  - wohnt     heiBt      kommt
Sie - wohnt     heiBt     kommt
Es  - wohnt     heiBt     kommt

That's what I have learned right now for conjugations.

I have been very lazy today.
Probably the most lazy that I have ever been in a long while. A long continuous while.
Over the summer I worked at a Scout camp. Woke up at 6:30 am everyday, had grace at 7:05 am then breakfast, flags after breakfast, taught classes for three hours, grace then lunch, taught some more classes for three hours, grace it some more then dinner, flags after dinner, paper work, some down time, and finally bed at 11 pm. That was my schedule. I never felt lazy.
Then school started and I slowly converted into what I am feeling today.
I am just going to blame Assessment Day for my laziness. Done.

So why am I randomly talking about being lazy?
It could be because I woke up at 10 this morning. Or the fact that I have homework to do and instead I am writing this blog while looking up songs on youtube. Or maybe it is just that I am still in my pajamas. I do not know. It could be one of those or a combination of all of them all.

So to cure my lazy feeling, I am going to get dressed, get my homework ready, and make myself some chocolate chip cookies. To help me bake these delicious treats I will be listening to Chocolate Chip Cookies by Wise Guys!

Guten Abend! Meine Name ist Liz. Mir geht es gut.

Hopefully this will be one of the many posts that I will be doing to demostrate my amazing German speaking skills. Just kidding, I don't have any amazing German speaking skills, yet, but I am hopeing with a little time and patience I will one day be able to brag about it and it will be awesome. But for now I am taking a beginner's German class at my university and only know the basics. 

For some fun here is a picture of a kitten and Domo. Underneath I have written what their conversation would be like if they were speaking in German. (Remember, basic is what I know so far).
